Hupi House sits on a gentle rolling dirt road in Monterey, tucked into the trees. It’s private in the best way: quiet mornings, starry nights, and nothing but woods outside the windows. Lake Garfield’s town beach is less than a 10-minute walk, so a swim before breakfast or a lazy afternoon on the sand is always on the table.

Monterey is a classic Berkshire hideaway town, mostly vacation and second homes, with no busy main street and no traffic. That’s the appeal. When you need groceries, coffee, a good dinner out, or some browsing in shops and galleries, downtown Great Barrington is about 20 minutes away.

Car is recommended, there is almost no public transit / rideshare apps in the area.
